After charming her reclusive grandfather and falling in love with the beautiful mountain he calls home, Heidi is uprooted and sent to Frankfurt where she befriends Klara, a young girl confined to a wheelchair.
Heidi is forced to leave her grandfather and is sent to live with a wealthy family in Frankfort to act as a companion to their daughter Klara.
Heidi's trying to return to the mountains, her grandfather and her friends.
