Drama about the family of an elite miner set against the backdrop of the biggest mining disaster of the second half of the 20th century, which left 108 men dead.
18 years old Peter has his first love Jana, that gets pregnant. To obtain a flat, despite his parents resistance, he starts to work in mine, where his father Milan works too. Elite miner, that is suffering from claustrophobia, after he survived a caving. Through Peter's eyes we are getting to know tough friendship, as well as inconceivably hard work 600 meters under surface.
