Ella is 19 years old and is spending her first year after high school in Oslo with her friend Susanne and her boyfriend Mats.

Ella can't decide if she wants to study, to on a trip to India or which boy she's in love with.

Ella cheats on her boyfriend Mats, and lets Simen into her apartment and her bed. Things gets difficult.

Ella has to lie about Simen, when Mats finds her phone, and both boys meets on the independence day celebration.

Simen turns his back to Ella, after he found out she already had a boyfriend, and feels used.

Ella tells Mats that she doesn't feel enough for him, she finds out Simen is infatuated in a colleague, before Ella decides to tell Simen she wants him.

Ella is devastated that Simen still rejects her, and finds out her roommate has ordered a nose job, which she hates.

Ella follows Susanne to her nose job appointment, goes to the beach and gets a message she almost can't believe.
