Rick Ross joins Jermaine, as the kids are tasked with writing a rap about their work ethic. Later, two rappers butt heads; and one manager grows suspicious of another.

Jermaine takes the kids to meet Rev. Bernice A. King, Martin Luther King Jr.'s daughter. Later, the rappers must write a 12-bar verse about their dream and perform with a choir at a music festival; two managers go head-to-head; and one artist struggles.

Celeb stylist April Roomet and rapper Jeezy help the kids uncover their own unique styles. Later, the rappers must earn money on the street to buy clothes for a photo shoot; one kid copies another; and one rapper struggles against a celebrity comparison.

Rappers iHeartMemphis and iAmDLOW give the contestants a lesson on generating buzz; the artists are challenged to create a signature dance that they must write, record and shoot a viral video for; one young artist struggles with dancing.

The kids receive feedback from a focus group, leaving one artist feeling overconfident and another humbled. Later, Jadakiss teaches the rappers how to turn haters into fans.

JD brings the group to his interview with The Durtty Boyz at Hot 107.9, where they throw the kids an unexpected challenge. With the threat of elimination, one rapper gets shaken to the core.

JD mixes up the management teams, and then challenges the young rappers to write, record, and shoot a music video with past The Rap Game winners Miss Mulatto and Mani. Can Ekko help Roscoe make it to the top or will Jasmine and Deetranada blow everyone's minds?

JD splits the young rappers into two teams and challenges them to perform at a high school halftime show.
