Nicole juggles two Detroit projects; while one house is in great shape, the other has been gutted; since both were built in 1928 and have similar floor plans, Nicole uses one house as the inspiration for renovations at the other house.

The front of the Lake Orion, Mich., house is barely accessible, while the driveway is solid dirt; Nicole reverses that by renovating the front porch and adding a Model T-style driveway; she adds a white picket fence along with some landscaping.

Nicole wants to turn the kitchen and dining room into the house's functional centerpiece; she rips out what was left behind and starts over with a new layout, cabinets and appliances.

Nicole returns to her first big Detroit flip, the Campbell house, where a pipe burst and ruined the upstairs and downstairs kitchens; she decides to restore both spaces a second time using any pieces she can salvage.
